What to share so the next call is actually useful
A good tutor conversation does not start with prices. It starts with what is happening at home academically: which board the child is on, which class they are in, where the school tests are slipping, how the homework load feels, which subjects feel heavy, and where in Gurgaon you live. Share that on the form and the call back from us will already be more useful than a generic discovery call.
Most parents reach this page after one of three moments: a school test result that felt below the effort, a chapter or subject that has been confusing for a few weeks, or the realisation that the pre-board or board calendar is closer than the household had assumed. Each of those situations needs a slightly different tutor brief, and the better the form is filled, the faster we can move into a serious conversation about what would actually help.
Tell us the board honestly. CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, and IB DP families are all common in Gurgaon, but the board changes the tutor we suggest. A CBSE Class 10 family will hear different names from us than an IGCSE Class 9 family or an IB DP HL family. If the child has recently moved boards — for example, from CBSE to IGCSE inside the same school — mention that too, because mid-stream board transitions need a tutor who has handled the same shift before.
Be specific about subjects. "My child needs help in everything" is rarely true; usually one or two subjects are the actual pain. Maths and Science in middle school, Maths and Physics in senior school, Chemistry and Biology in the boards run, Accountancy and Economics in Commerce, English answer writing in ICSE — these are different problems with different tutor profiles. If you are not sure which subject is the priority, share recent test marks and we will tell you what we see.
Share the school name. We do not contact the school, and we do not claim affiliation. We use the school name to understand homework load, exam style, and chapter pace. A Pathways family revising for an IB internal will have a different home schedule from a Shri Ram, Aravali family preparing for Class 10 ICSE pre-boards. The school is a planning signal, not a label we trade on.
Locality matters more than parents realise. Tell us your sector, society, or general area — DLF Phase 1 to 5, Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension, Sushant Lok, South City 1 and 2, Sohna Road, Sector 50 to 84, Palam Vihar, MG Road, New Gurgaon, Dwarka Expressway. We will check whether a tutor can reach you reliably at the slot you want without travel becoming the failure point of the plan. If your area is borderline for home tuition, we will say so honestly and discuss online tuition or longer weekend sessions instead.
Mention timing constraints early. A 4 pm slot during the school week is different from a 7 pm slot after homework. A Sunday morning slot is different from a Saturday evening one. Sports, music, and a sibling's tuition often decide what is actually possible at home. If the child is exhausted by the time the tutor arrives, the session does not work, so we would rather know the real constraints up front than rebuild the schedule three weeks later.
What happens after you submit the form
We read your enquiry the same day during advisor hours, often within an hour or two.
An advisor calls back to ask short clarifying questions — chapter pain, recent marks, school name, slot constraints.
We shortlist two or three tutors who fit the brief and explain why each one is being suggested.
You meet or speak with the tutor before any payment, usually through a short demo session.
Regular classes start with a clear first-month plan that the parent agrees with.
The form is intentionally short. The real conversation happens once we call back. If you have shared enough context, that first call usually moves the family from "we need a tutor" to "we have a plan we agree with" in fifteen to twenty minutes. That is the version of contact we want this page to deliver.
