BoardPeFocus is a Gurgaon-focused tutor matching and home tuition platform. This page explains the process behind the matching, the demo, and the ongoing parent feedback loop, in plain language.
What progress actually looks like
Different students respond to home tutoring in different ways. Some parents see steady school-test improvement within a few weeks. Others need three to six months of consistent practice before the change is visible in marks. A few families realise within the first month that the fit is not right and switch tutors. All three outcomes are normal.
We do not publish guaranteed score percentages, average improvements, or top-rank numbers on this page. Those figures depend on each child's preparation, the school's pace, sleep, exam-day execution, and many factors outside any tutor's control. A platform that promises a specific board score is, in practice, advertising rather than describing what is possible.
What we can describe is the process. Tutors are expected to share short feedback after each session, raise weak chapters early, and align the weekly work with the school's test calendar. Parents are encouraged to review the child's notebook regularly and raise concerns within the first month rather than waiting until pre-boards.

How a tutor is shortlisted
The matching process is set up around board, class, subject, school routine, locality, timing, and the specific learning gap the parent has described.
A note on numbers.We do not publish a specific percentage of tutor applications that are accepted or rejected. The matching depends on the child's board, subject, class level, locality, and slot — a senior CBSE Class 12 Physics tutor may have a different availability picture from a primary-class generalist. The honest framing is fit per family, not a uniform funnel statistic.
School-aware tutoring, without affiliation claims
Gurgaon families study across a wide range of schools — CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IB, and Cambridge IGCSE — each with its own pace, marking style, and pre-board pattern. The matching considers which school the child attends so the tutoring plan respects the actual classroom rhythm.
Using school context for planning is not the same as being affiliated with the school. BoardPeFocus does not claim any official school partnership, does not use private school material, and does not represent itself to schools on behalf of families. The school remains the child's academic home; tuition is independent.

Background and limits
BoardPeFocus is a small, Gurgaon-focused team. The site supports a wider tutor directory that families can browse, but the matching service itself is intentionally limited to families and tutors based in Gurugram and adjacent areas. We do not currently operate outside Gurgaon, do not run group coaching centres, and do not sell pre-recorded courses.
Tutor availability depends on schedule fit, location feasibility, subject requirement, and parent discussion. Hourly rates depend on the tutor's seniority, board specialisation, class level, and subject — they are agreed transparently before any session is booked.
If something on this site looks like an unverifiable claim, please raise it. The intent of this page is the opposite of marketing copy: an honest description that parents can use to decide whether the platform is worth a first conversation.
